Dodi Tal is situated at an elevation of 3024m, in north of Uttarkashi and is surrounded by dense woods of Oak, Pine, Deodar and Rhododendrons. The Crystal Lake is full of rare fishes and the Himalayan Golden Trout. The trek to Dodi Tal commences from Uttarkashi to Sangam Chatti and is approachable by motor. Sangam Chatti to Agoda is a gradual climb through woods, fields and villages on mule track. The trek form Agoda to Dodi Tal is steep and through thick forests.

DAY 01: DELHI ARRIVAL:
Upon arrival meet to our representative, transfer to your pre booked hotel for rest of the night.
DAY 02: DELHI-MUSSOORIE : (TRAIN)
Early in the morning board train to Dehradun by Shtabadi Exp. ETD 0655 hrs. ETA 1210 hrs, uon arrival meet to our representative, further drive to Mussoorie, a lovely hill station, which gives you your first views of the snowy peaks. Upon arrival, check in at hotel or guest house. The day is yours to unwind and acclimate to your new surroundings. Optional Yoga class will be held in the afternoon before dinner.
DAY 03: MUSSOORIE (1,921m)
Optional Morning yoga at 6:30 before breakfast
Optional walking tour to Cloud's End or Everest House. Rest of the time explore the tinny market and walk at Camel Back Road. Overnight in hotel or guesthouse.
DAY 04: MUSSOORIE - UTTARKASHI (1,158m)
Optional Morning yoga at 6:30 before breakfast
After breakfast drive to Uttarkashi pass a beautiful ridge road through Devdar and Dhanolti groves, and then along the banks of the Bhagirathi River to the holy town of Uttarkashi. Uttarkashi is a famous destination for pilgrims going to Gangotri and an important center for yogis and sadhus. Check into hotel or guesthouse. Rest of the time visit NIM (Neharu Institue of Mounataineering)
DAY 05: UTTARKASHI - AGODA (2,250m)- DODITAL (3320M) 6-7 HRS TREK :
Optional Yoga at 6:30 before breakfast
Later 45 min. drive to road head at Sangam Chatti (1,350m), than trek to Dodital via Agoda village. A gradual uphill trek through a beautiful forest of pine, fir and spruce trees. Dodital is said to be the birthplace of Lord Ganesha, and is extremely peaceful. It is a beautiful lake (tal means lake) about 500m wide and is surrounded by thick forest. Overnight stay in tents
DAY 06: DODITAL- DHARWA TOP (4,150m)- DODITAL : 4-5 HRS TREK:
After breakfast trek to Dharwa approximately 03 hrs up a steep hill, alongside the stream that feeds Dodital, to reach Dharwa Top. It is a grassy hilltop range that houses the Gujjars (nomadic herdsmen) during the summer time. From here, we have impressive views of Mt. Banderpunch (6,316m) and Swargarohini I (6,252m). DAY 07: DHARWA TOP - MANJI VILALGEi (3,150m)
Retrace our trek for 8km (4 hrs) to Village Manji, which has a substantial Gujjar settlement. It is a nice place to have a jungle camp, with good views of Mt. Banderpunch. Overnight stay in tents
DAY 08: MANJI VILLAGE - UTTARKASHI 6-7 HRS TREK:
Morning back trek to Uttarkashi, on arrival at road head transfer to Uttarkashi. Rest of the time free. Overnight at hotel or guest house.
DAY 09: UTTARKASHI- HARIDWAR - DELHI :
Early in the morning drive to Haridwar, later board train to Delhi by Dehradun Shtabadi Express. Upon arrival meet to our representative at New Delhi railway station, transfer to our hotel or further connect flight to airport. |
